Partners in Education (PIE) is a collective effort of the Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce and our local schools that matches businesses and organizations with schools to provide extra funding, unique services and volunteer support. The vision behind the Partners in Education Program is to enrich the learning experience of Baldwin’s children so that all develop a strong academic foundation, skills, and core values that will benefit them in their community life and in a career. The Partners In Education program is vital in helping the community and the school system work and grow together.
The key to PIE success is matching up the school’s needs with the resources of a business or individual in a mutually beneficial manner. Businesses can partner with an individual school, multiple schools or, for some businesses, with the entire county-wide school system as a Partner-at-Large (or PAL). To be eligible as a Partner in Education, your business must be an active member of the Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce and offer support of $250 or more whether financially or as an in-kind donation. If you are not an active member of the Chamber or donate less than $250, you are eligible to become a Friend of the Baldwin County School District to recognize your contribution.

PIE SPOTLIGHT: Butler Ford Presents TOTY Vehicle
Matt Brabham, General Manager at Butler Ford of Milledgeville, and his team have generously sponsored a one-year lease for the winner of the Baldwin County School District Teacher of the Year. This helps the teacher have reliable transportation to and from their school as they support the students in their classroom.
"We’re thankful for the educators we have in this town. We support that. We support the community and appreciate the community supporting us as well," Brabham stated.
The dealership intends for this recognition to become an annual tradition. "We've committed - as long as I'm here - to continue awarding a vehicle to the Teacher of the Year every year," Brabham affirmed.
Fall 2026 will mark the third year of Butler Ford's generous donation.

The Woodland Acres at Robbins Farm, owned and operated by a Baldwin alum, gifted our District Teacher of the Year a weekend stay at their onsite cabin complete with a cozy den, full-sized kitchen, and other relaxing spaces. This getaway will provide some much needed R&R!
Shannon Roberson, from Walmart (Milledgeville Supercenter), dropped off a monetary donation as well as a future commitment to help supply special items for Teacher Appreciation Week!
The Ville Nutrition sponsored a bouquet of gift certificates as an appreciation gift for Dr. Brooks. The bouquet was presented this July at our Annual BCSD Convocation by two student leaders. The Ville has served hundreds of beverages to our district and continues to serve kindness!
