Federal Programs and Student Services

Executive Director of Student Services:

• Federal Programs: Manages Title I, II, III, and IV funding, ensuring compliance, proper allocation, and alignment with district educational goals.
• ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages): Directs language instruction programs, assessments, and support services for English language learners and their families.
• Gifted Education: Oversees identification, curriculum enhancement, and specialized programming for academically advanced students.
• MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports): Leads the district-wide framework for early identification and targeted intervention for academic and behavioral challenges.
• 504 Plans: Ensures legal compliance under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, managing accommodations for students with disabilities who do not require special education services.
• Social Services: Coordinates wraparound supports, including school social workers, homeless/foster youth initiatives, mental health resources, and family community outreach.
