Baldwin High School Outpaces State Average in Latest CCRPI

Writer: BCSDBCSD

Baldwin High School is proud to announce a 5% increase on the annual CCRPI report compared to last year, a mark that is outperforming the state average for high schools by 4.2%.

"We are incredibly proud of our students, teachers and families for all of the hard work and dedication over the past year," said Baldwin Principal Dr. Cloise Williams.

"Our gains on the CCRPI and the near 20% increase in our graduation rate over the past two years shows that we are doing great work here at Baldwin High and it's starting to pay off."

The CCRPI is Georgia’s statewide accountability system, implemented in 2012 to replace No Child Left Behind’s Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) measurement, after the U.S. Department of Education granted Georgia’s waiver from NCLB. It measures schools and school districts on a 100-point scale based on multiple indicators of performance, helping parents and the public better understand how schools are performing in a more comprehensive manner than the pass/fail system previously in place under AYP.
