We had a lot to recognize and be thankful for at this month's board meeting. Leading off the recognitions, and in honor of Veterans Day falling this month as well, the Baldwin County School District (BCSD) recognized our employees who also had prior service in our armed forces. BCSD also recognized this month's Pursuit of Excellence winners, professionals of our district who have gone above and beyond in the service of our schools.

Also included at this month's meeting was the latest recipient of the 13 WMAZ "My Teacher is TOPS" Award and one very bright young chemist who is well on her way to having a major impact in the world of chemistry.
