Lakeview Academy Beginning Band fifth grade students have started playing their first notes on their band instruments! These dedicated students are eager to learn and many of them take advantage of optional band practice time that is being offered by Beginning Band Director Kaitlin Merck before and after school. The Baldwin County School System is extremely proud of its award-winning band program. This school year, the band program has extended to include the system's two academies. The beginning band program reaches 3rd-5th grade students at Lakeview Academy and Midway Hills Academy.
