Ms. Boelen's Pre-Calc class has been working on a unit consisting of systems of equations, matrices, and vectors. After completing a cryptography project using inverse matrices, the students completed the unit by creating a model of a real-life situation of travel. The students drew diagrams, discovered missing information, and used their previous knowledge of trigonometric ratios to calculate displacement and direction.
Students enjoyed being able to use a variety of methods learned in this course and in previous courses to accurately derive their solutions.
