Midway Hills Academy is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. Mrs. Sills’ third grade class made this bulletin board celebrating many Hispanic men and women who made significant contributions to our way of life. They also celebrated teachers and students at MHA of Hispanic descent. Mrs. Sills’ grandfather, Manuel Mansour was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador. Sami Renteria, a student in Mrs. Sills’ class, was born in Acapulco, Mexico and moved to the US when she was 1 year old.
