BHS Track Wins at State Championship

The Baldwin Braves and Bravettes proved to be a dominating force in GHSA Class 4A - Region 3 state meet. The Braves and Bravettes Track & Field teams left their mark on the State Championship at Berry College in Rome, GA this weekend and here's a look at all the trophy's coming back to Baldwin:


ZyKeria Williams - 1st Place 100m Hurdles, 1st Place Long Jump, 2nd Place 200m Dash, 2nd Place 4x100m Relay, 8th Place 4x400m Relay, and High Point Champion Class 4A


Jatavious Harris - 1st Place 100m Dash, 1st Place 200m Dash, 1st Place 4x400m Relay, and High Point Champion Class 4A


Jatavious Harris, Darius Ruff, Dalvin Ruff, and Devin Simmons - 1st Place 4x400m Relay


Milton Adams - 6th Place Long Jump 
Keldrick Bell - 6th Place Triple Jump 
Willie Williams - 5th Place Shot Put

Jakayla Hubert - 7th Place 300m Hurdles
Makayla Ricks - 8th Place High Jump
Mollie Speights - 5th Place High Jump 
Brittany Trawick - 5th Place 200m Dash and 7th Place Long Jump

Jasmine Chester, Shakeria Collins, Brittany Trawick, and Zykeria Williams - 2nd Place 4x100m Relay

Jakayla Hubert, Lanika Ross, Brittany Trawick, and Zykeria Williams - 8th Place 4x400m Relay


Both teams finished in 3rd Place overall. Congratulations again to the students and their coaches, Head Girls Coach Anderson Bentley and Head Boys Coach Dexter Ricks, on an awesome season!
