LVA Achieves 100% Google Classroom Campus Status

February 20, 2018

Lakeview Academy is proud to announce that we have achieved our goal of becoming a 100% Google Classroom Campus.

Google Classroom is a free suite of productivity tools that is available on the Google platform that has been adopted by the Baldwin County School System. It allows teachers to keep multiple resources together in one page, plan and co-teach lessons with other teachers, and give timely and individualized responses to students as they work.

Responding to a challenge from Superintendent Dr. Noris Price, LVA teachers worked with Instructional Technology Specialist Dawson K. Roberts, LVA Academic Coach Kachari Davis, and Media Specialist Maria Thorne during their planning times and after school hours to achieve this goal. LVA teachers are also enthusiastically exploring and accomplishing other goals that are available on the new Baldwin County Schools Digital Professional Learning site!

At Lakeview Academy, we are proud to say that our teachers and students are well on their way to being 21st century digital learners!
