Georgia College Physics and Renewable Energy Field Trip

April 13, 2018

1st and 2nd grade OE students from MHP and LVP learned about renewable energy from GCSU students in Dr. Mahabaduge's physics class. Students used berry juice and solar cells to measure how much energy could be created from the sun. They also got a chance to see solar energy in action by checking out the solar panels that power GCSU’s golf carts. They learned why it is so important for scientists to develop ways to use clean energy efficiently.
