Congratulations to BHS TOTY - Dr. Candice Haynes

Baldwin High School is proud to announce our

2019-2020 Teacher of the Year:  Dr. Candice Haynes.

Dr. Haynes is a proud 1992, graduate of Baldwin High. She returned home to teach at BHS in 2008. She has  been a member of the Science Department for 11 years and the Science Department Chair for 2 years. 


She has obtained many degrees which are listed below. 


1996 - Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology/Pre-Medicine - Paine College

1998 - Bachelor of Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy-Medical College of Georgia

2001 - Master’s Degree in Public Health - Mercer School of Medicine

2010 - Specialist Degree in Education- Nova Southeastern University

 2019 - Educational Doctorate- Nova Southeastern University


We are proud to have her represent our school as the Teacher of the Year!
