The Baldwin County School District was honored by Georgia College with the coveted Bobcat Partner Award, recognizing the exemplary relationship we have with our local institution of higher learning.

The award comes after having spent the past few years cultivating professional and academic development for our teachers and their students who are positively impacting our district through the use of innovative professional learning, student-teaching, music therapy and numerous other successful programs.

BCSD & Georgia College are set to take another revolutionary step in our partnership with the launch of the all new Montessori Academy at the Early Learning Center. The Montessori Academy is an all new partnership program between BCSD and Georgia College, aiming to provide the montessori educational experience here in Baldwin County. The Montessori Academy is set to open in August of 2017 and is currently taking applications by visiting their website here.

Georgia College is also a Partner In Education with the district, a special program in conjunction with the Milledgeville-Baldwin Chamber aiming to link businesses and organizations in our community to our local schools. Partners In Education potentially represent over $50,000 in donations to our local schools and are an excellent way for your business or organization to make an impact on our local community.
