Today, President of Georgia College Dr. Steve Dorman toured the Montessori Academy at the Early Learning Center to see first hand the incredible progress our Montessori Academy has made in its first several months in operation. The Montessori Academy is a joint effort by the Baldwin County School District and Georgia College that has brought the self-paced Montessori method, the most innovative pre-k curriculum available, to our local area here in Baldwin County.

The program has proven so successful in its first year that both organizations are planning on expanding the program to include more pre-k classes and the possibility of a kindergarten level Montessori class for our primary schools.
