Wednesday, March 10, 2021, the Baldwin Braves Basketball Team become the Georgia High School Association's State Class 4A Basketball Champions--a title that has not been held by Baldwin since 1981. William Freeman made a jump shot with 3.8 seconds left on the clock, which secured the boys basketball team's championship win and ended the 40-year drought for the boys basketball program at Baldwin High School.
In order to commemorate this historical event, Baldwin High School would like to purchase championship rings for the student-athletes, coaches, and support staff responsible for this tremendous accomplishment. The seniors on the team have designed a unique ring through Balfour. The cost of each ring is $265.00.
To provide for the cost of the rings, Baldwin High School is seeking support from community members, businesses, churches, alumni, BCSD employees, and others who would like to help raise the necessary funds to purchase the championship rings. We have established a “Ring of Honor” Donation Program with five distinct levels of giving:
Platinum Level - $1000
Platinum Level donors will receive:
An individual banner that will be displayed in the gym during the 2021-2022 school year
A VIP invite to the ring ceremony
Two (2) regular season passes to all home basketball games in the 2021-2022 season
Note: The seats will be in the new “Courtside Club” section. The first two rows on the court’s side opposite the scorer’s table will be reserved for our “Courtside Club” patrons. These seats will be reserved.
Gold Level - $500
Gold Level donors will receive:
Donor recognition on a banner to be displayed in the gym during the 2021-2022 school year along with with other Gold, Silver, and Bronze Level Donors
A VIP invite to the ring ceremony
Two (2) regular season passes to all home basketball games in the 2021-2022 season
Silver Level-$250
Silver Level donors will receive:
Donor recognition on a banner to be displayed in the gym during the 2021-2022 school year along with with other Gold, Silver, and Bronze Level Donors
A VIP invite to the ring ceremony
One (1) regular season passes to all home basketball games in the 2021-2022 season
Bronze Level - $100
Bronze Level donors will receive:
Donor recognition on a banner to be displayed in the gym during the 2021-2022 school year along with with other Gold, Silver, and Bronze Level Donors
Friends of Baldwin - $50
There is also an option for a donation to be given in any amount that a donor feels is appropriate. All donations to the championship ring program are tax-deductible.
