Yesterday, the Baldwin Bravettes took the court at the Macon Coliseum for the State Championship, capping off yet another remarkable season that made our entire Baldwin community proud. Though the game ended with a 66-58 score in favor of Cherokee Bluff, the Bravettes walked away as true champions in every sense—demonstrating the discipline, resilience, and leadership that define Baldwin High School.

An Extraordinary Season
This season was nothing short of extraordinary. For the fourth year in a row, the Bravettes secured the Region Championship, proving once again that they are a powerhouse in Georgia high school basketball. And for the third straight year, they fought their way to the State Championship game, showcasing their consistency, grit, and determination at the highest level.
With a 12-game winning streak leading up to this final battle, the Bravettes showed time and again what they are made of. Janaye Walker delivered another dominant performance, securing a double-double with 21 points and 19 rebounds, while Kassidy Neal was right behind her with 17 points and nine rebounds—both showcasing their incredible talent and tenacity.
To our Bravettes:
You have given us a season to remember, filled with hard-fought victories, teamwork, and unwavering commitment. This journey was about more than just the scoreboard—it was about passion, perseverance, and the power of believing in each other. You have set an example for future Baldwin athletes, and we couldn't be prouder
