Excitement filled the air yesterday evening as Baldwin High School's gymnasium played host to a momentous occasion - the National Letter of Intent signing ceremony for two of Georgia's most promising basketball talents: Zykeria Paschal and Madison Ruff.

After leading the Bravettes to victory in the 2024 Georgia State Championship, Paschal and Ruff showcased their skills and dedication on the court, earning well-deserved recognition and accolades. Paschal's dynamic playstyle and Ruff's exceptional performance as the Statewide MVP have not only brought glory to Baldwin High School but have also captured the hearts of basketball enthusiasts across the state.

Paschal has signed an NLI to attend Paine College in August and Ruff signed her commitment to Mount St. Mary University in Emmetsburg, Maryland. With pens poised and smiles beaming, Paschal and Ruff officially penned their dedication to continue their basketball careers at the collegiate level. The signing ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter for these talented athletes, one filled with opportunities, challenges, and the potential for even greater success.

There were tears from parents following powerful words from both players as well as the coaches followed by remarks from Principal Jason Flanders as well as Athletic Director Coach Dexter Ricks. Paschal and Ruff's achievements have not only brought glory to Baldwin High School but have also inspired a generation of aspiring athletes to dream big and reach for the stars.

Congratulations, Zykeria and Madison - may your futures be as bright as your spirits are strong.
