National School Lunch Week was October 11-15, 2021. This year's campaign theme, “WILD About School Lunch” highlights the importance of healthy school lunches to students' success both in and out of the classroom. Due to Fall Break, the Baldwin County School District will recognize our school nutrition employees the week of October 18-22, 2021.
Despite the hardships brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Baldwin County School Nutrition staff has played an important role in helping our students establish healthy eating habits by providing nutritious meals each day. Most importantly, research has shown that students are able to learn better when they're well-nourished.
During the week of October 18-22, please take the time to show our school nutrition staff that you appreciate their hard work and dedication to our students and the Baldwin County Schools. They work tirelessly to provide thousands of meals each day to our students and staff.
