BCSD Celebrates Public Schools Week

ree

The Baldwin County School District will join thousands of educators, parents, and community members across the nation in the celebration of Public Schools Week 2021--the week of February 22-26. Administrators, teachers, specialists, support staff, parents, and school board members are encouraged to host events for their communities and reach out to lawmakers, businesses, and other community members to discuss the importance of public education. Public Schools Week brings everyone together to show the strength and potential of our nation’s public schools and our students’ futures. Our public schools look different this year. But our commitment is the same: We will keep our students safe, learning, and growing, one student at a time.

Public schools educate nine of every 10 students. Public Education is the great equalizer for children; it has lifted generations of people out of poverty and from middle to higher income, helping to set young adults on the path to a fulfilling life. Please join us in thanking our educators and support staff for the exemplary work they have demonstrated throughout these unprecedented times.
