BCSD Grieves the Loss of a Member of Our School Community

The Baldwin County School District has suffered a great loss. Ms. Venita Clemons, bus operator for our school district, recently passed away. Ms. Clemons served our school district proudly for 17 years. She was an amazing woman and a dedicated employee. We will truly miss her. Please join us in extending our condolences to her family and friends. We ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Graveside services for Ms. Venita Clemons will be held on Saturday, January 16th at 3:00 p.m. at the Second Darien Baptist Church Cemetery, located in Linton, Georgia. Viewing is scheduled for Friday, January 15th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Slaters Funeral Home located at 244 North Wayne Street in Milledgeville.
