BCSD Hosts Georgia College Students for Gives Day

The Baldwin County School District would like to express its gratitude to the Georgia College & State University (GCSU) students who participated in GCSU's Gives Day on Saturday, August 17th.

The Baldwin County School District benefited greatly from their generosity, and students lent a helping hand throughout the district. According to Georgia College and State University, the students helped more than 30 different nonprofits in Milledgeville and Baldwin County. This in-kind donation is valued at over $120,000 worth of volunteer labor.

The Baldwin County School District staff is appreciative of all of the hard work completed that day. "We are so thankful for our partnership with Georgia College; they continue to be an asset to the community and our school system. We want to thank all the students for giving their time and labor to the Baldwin County School District," stated Superintendent Dr. Noris Price.
