Tri-County Electric Membership Corporation received twenty applications for special projects this year and approximately eight organizations were awarded funds totaling $22,344.07. We are proud to announce that the BCSD School Nutrition Department is the recipient of a S5,000 grant to support the Baldwin Grows Learning Garden Expansion Project. This project allows students to explore their environment in real-time, which helps deliver the curriculum in a meaningful way and provides professional development for all teachers in the areas of wellness. Thank you to Ms. Akeiti Mayweather, Wellness Coordinator, for helping the BCSD move forward with our 21-century learning initiatives.
