BCSD to Purchase School Supplies for Students

Updated: Jun 28

As stores begin to prepare for the back-to-school season, the Baldwin County School District will assist families with school essentials by purchasing basic school supplies for all students for the 2022-2023 school year. At the May Baldwin County Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Dr. Noris Price recommended using funds from the federal CARES Act to purchase school supplies for all students to provide some financial relief for parents in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Baldwin County Board of Education unanimously approved the recommendation. This is the second year that all students will receive FREE school supplies for the beginning of the school year.

Additional items beyond the basic school essentials will need to be purchased by parents such as clear or mesh backpacks. For a complete list of supplies for each school, please click the following link: School Supply Lists. Students will receive the school supplies the first week of school.
