The Montessori Academy and Early Learning Center students had a very important visitor on Wednesday, April 13th. Commissioner Amy Jacobs with the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning spent time with the students and read the book "Up, Down, and Around" to them. This classic golden book written by Robert Munsch detailed a small boy and his friend helping to work and discover in his dad's garden. The students were able to ask questions and talk about the creepy-crawly insects discovered in the garden. From children chasing butterflies to ants burrowing in the ground, the students were sure to identify such things in their environment at home. Thank you, Commissioner Amy Jacobs and the ELC/Montesorri team, for a beautiful, fun-filled day outside with the students!
