Felecia Batts

Felecia Batts is working in her first year for the Baldwin County School District. Mrs. Batts currently works as a Special Education Coordinator.
She was nominated by her colleague, Damaya Crow. Ms. Crow had the following to say, “Mrs. Batts goes above and beyond her duty as the Special Education Coordinator. I still remember meeting her for the first time during my new teacher orientation, I was terrified. After meeting with Mrs. Batts, I felt a sense of relief. She immediately started discussing new ideas and techniques that she wanted to introduce to our students. Mrs. Batts has inspired me both personally and professionally. One thing that I admire the most about Mrs. Batts is her determination for growth for the students as well as others that she works with. Since working with Mrs. Batts, she has created short-and long-term goals for me to achieve both professionally and personally. Working in Therapeutic Services is not the easiest job, but everyday she finds ways to motivate me. I honestly do not think I could’ve made it this far in my first year of teaching without her. I admire the love she has for the kids as well as her knowledge. I just wanted to say thank you for all that you do for our department.”
Mrs. Batts, thank you for being the epitome of excellence!
