Notice of Intent to Apply for 21st Century Community Learning Center Grants

In accordance with the application instructions from the Georgia Department of Education, the Baldwin County School District hereby submits this FY23 Notice of Intent to apply for two applications for 21st Century Community Learning Centers After School Program Grants serving two school sites: Midway Hills Academy and Baldwin High School. The purpose of the grants is to provide opportunities for academic enrichment activities during non-school hours or periods when school is not in session, such as before and after school or during summer break, for all qualifying students. 21st CCLC programs. It will also offer students a broad array of additional services, programs, and activities that are designed to complement the regular academic program such as youth development activities, counseling programs, arts, music, physical fitness and wellness programs, financial literacy programs, environmental literacy programs, and career technical programs. The 21st CCLC programs offer families opportunities for active and meaningful engagement in their child’s education, including opportunities for literacy and related educational development. The application will be available at https://www.baldwincountyschoolsga.org/ after January 25, 2022.
