Oak Hill Junior BETA Gives To Milly Free Fridge

janice.zeigler

The Oak Hill National Junior BETA Club used it's January meeting to make a charitable donation to the local organization, The Milly Free Fridge. BETA Club parents and students donated materials to make 50 sandwiches to put into the refrigerator that feeds those in need.

The Milly Free Fridge is dedicated to combating food insecurity in our community. The fridge is located at 601 S. Wilkinson St. at Kathie's Tax Service in Milledgeville and has been in operation for over a year. Many of our Junior BETA Club members have donated to the Milly Free Fridge through their churches and other community organizations, and wanted our club to contribute as well. The students enjoyed helping local organization further it's cause and living up to the BETA Club Motto: Let Us Lead By Serving Others
