Summer Learning Tips for Parents!

Parents, empower your child's growth over the summer break with these simple steps:

1. Daily Reading: Encourage your child to dive into a book for at least 20 minutes every night. Whether it's a thrilling adventure or a captivating story, regular reading boosts comprehension, improves vocabulary, reinforces critical learning skills,  and expands horizons. It also promotes a love of teading.

2. iReady Practice: Keep those academic skills sharp by dedicating at least 30 minutes each evening to iReady Reading. With engaging activities tailored to their level, iReady helps reinforce essential literacy skills in a fun and interactive way.

3. Access Classlink from Home: Utilize Classlink to seamlessly access iReady and other educational resources from home. Simply visit https://launchpad.classlink.com/baldwincounty and log in to the BCSD Classlink login page. From there, students can easily navigate to iReady via their Classlink Launchpad.

By incorporating these practices into your child's summer routine, you're setting them up for success in the upcoming school year and beyond. Let's make this summer a time of growth, exploration, and academic achievement!
