The Baldwin County School District will host two virtual town hall meetings today via Zoom and Facebook Live. The purpose of these informational sessions is to provide an update on the school district's process to safely reopen schools for the 2020-2021 school year and to allow parents and the public to ask questions. The first town hall meeting will be held at noon. The second will start at 5:30 p.m. Superintendent Dr. Noris Price will be leading the town hall meetings, discussing the formation of a local task force and the different school reopening models examined thus far. During these virtual town hall meetings, Dr. Noris Price will also discuss the Georgia Department of Education guidance document and walk the audience through the rationale and details associated with the potential models for reopening schools.
