Volunteer Surprises the Early Learning Center Students with a Donation for the Media Center

Last week was an exciting day for Dr. Maidana Nunn and the Early Learning Center (ELC) students. Dr. Nunn, a long-time volunteer, donated $500.00 to support literacy. The donation will be used to purchase additional books for the ELC media center. Dr. Nunn believes that every student should have access to books at school as well as at home. Over the years, she has donated books to students and spent time reading to them.

Dr. Noris Price, Superintendent of Schools, met Dr. Maidana Nunn seven years ago when she arrived in the District, and she quickly learned how passionate she was about reading. Dr. Maidana Nunn, we appreciate you and the impact that you have had on our students and our District throughout the years. Thank you for your generous donation.
