Our School Nutrition Department has had a stellar year receiving recognition after recognition all year long. Most recently, our School Nutrition Department received yet another "Best Practices" award for both the state and southeastern region by the United States Department of Agriculture.

Susan Nelson, Director of School Nutrition, submitted several best practices for considerations, one of which includes their new management training program. Each year, BCSD School Nutrition takes note of certain individuals who show management potential and support their talent with many different training opportunities to help them progress their careers while ensuring our school's have the human resources they need to provide thousands of meals daily to our students.
