Lakeview Academy held "prep" rallies in preparation for the upcoming Georgia Milestones Test. Principal Shawne Holder congratulated the students on their hard work and preparation and assured them about her confidence in their ability to excel during the test. As a special treat, Maurice Hurt, former NFL football player, BCS champion team member of the University of Florida gators and 2006 Honors graduate of Baldwin High School, shared some words of wisdom with the students. He stressed how education played a very important role in the fulfillment of his dreams and encouraged the students to take their education seriously and do their best on the test.

The LVA Drill Team entertained the students with several high-energy routines and led them in a rally cheer competition. LVA teachers joined the students in a rousing show of solidarity. LVA is ready for the Georgia Milestones test!
