Pursuit of Excellence Awards Winners for October 2019
Congratulations to the following employees who are the October 2019 recipients of the Pursuit of Excellence Award for the Baldwin County School District.
Ms. Carrie Brown Family Services Advocate for the Early Learning Center Nominated by Amie Wall, Co-worker
Carrie Brown has been with the Baldwin County School District for 15 years. She is commended by her co-worker for going above and beyond in her role as the Family Services Advocate at the Early Learning Center. Her co-worker, Amie Wall had the following to say about Carrie Brown, “she has a kind and giving heart when it comes to helping the parents and the children here at the ELC. I enjoy working alongside with her, she is a great co-worker to have around. Carrie is a hard working FSA manager at the ELC. She is dedicated to making sure that our parents and students needs are taken care of. Carrie comes up with fun activities to do with our families, foster grandparents and her co-workers. I enjoy working with her and helping her with the activities she plans.” Carrier Brown, thank you for being a shining example of excellence!
Ms. Amber Crawford Teacher at Baldwin High School Nominated by Barry Reese, Co-worker
Amber Crawford is working in her sixth year with the Baldwin County School District. She has been working as an educator for almost ten years. Ms. Crawford is noted as being a hard worker who is compassionate and cares about the students that she teaches and all of the students in Baldwin High School. Her co-worker, Barry Reese had the following to say about Ms. Crawford, “she is always working so hard for her students - full of energy and enthusiasm!” Ms. Crawford, thank you for your example of excellence!
Ms. Tina Denaro Teacher at Midway Hills Academy Nominated by Amber Raines, Co-worker
Tina Denaro is working in her third year with the Baldwin County School District and has over fifteen years as an educator. She is admired by her co-worker for her ability to support other educators as well as encourage and support the students at Midway Hills Academy. Her co-worker, Amber Raines had the following to say about Ms. Denero, “Mrs. Denaro has welcomed me to the 4th Grade Team with open arms. We pray each morning before the kids get to the classroom. She encourages me every moment that she sees me. She has made me feel loved and wanted on the 4th Grade Team. Ms. Denaro, thank you for modeling excellence!
Ms. Greta Mosley In School Suspension Instructor at Baldwin High School

Greta Mosley began her service with the Baldwin County School District over twenty-one years ago. During her tenure with the districts, she has served as a STAR Instructor and as an In School Suspension Instructor. She is described as a hard worker by her co-workers and here is what Ms. Felton, who is also her daughter, has to say about her, “she is a very hard working and dedicated person. She has been with the school system for several years as the ISS instructor. She also goes above and beyond with helping kids within the school and outside of the classrooms. She helps students with disciplinary issues along with academic issues.” Ms. Mosley, thank you for modelling excellence!
