Baldwin High School Cross Country teams hosted the 2019 GHSA Region 3 AAAA Cross Country Championships. Both teams competed hard to defend their home course and the results showed. The boys finished as region runner ups and the girls are Region Champions. The girls were lead by Junior Ashley Johnson who finished second overall, freshman Ja'Myah Cummings finished fourth, sophomores Camelia Darrisaw and Tamia Smith finished seventh and eight, while freshman Amani Choice finished twelfth. The boys were lead by junior .Latvoisia Gray who finished third overall, freshman Brandan Green finished fifth, junior Labronze Boyd finished sixth, freshmen Datwon Copeland finished eight and Derrick Brown finished fifteenth. The teams will travel on Nov. 1st to Carrollton to compete in the GHSA State Championships. The boys will run at 9:00 AM Friday morning and the girls at 9:45 AM.
