Baldwin High School Hosts Successful GHSA State Track Meet


Baldwin High School's Anderson Bentley Jr. Track was the center of action on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, as it welcomed over 250 student-athletes from 30 schools for the GHSA AAAA State Track and Field Sectionals. With coaches, fans, and volunteers in attendance, the event promised a day filled with athleticism and community spirit.


Preparation for the meet required the support of volunteers from the Baldwin community, who answered the call to assist with various tasks throughout the day. From gate workers to concession stand helpers, their dedication ensured the smooth operation of the event, contributing to its success.

The meet commenced at 10:00 AM and continued until 7:30 PM, offering a thrilling display of talent and sportsmanship. Volunteers played vital roles in managing different aspects of the event, from overseeing field events to providing hospitality services for coaches, showcasing the power of community collaboration.


As the sun set on a day of intense competition and camaraderie, Baldwin High School celebrated the culmination of months of planning and teamwork. The GHSA State Track Meet not only showcased the athletic prowess of the participants but also highlighted the spirit of unity and support that defines Baldwin High School Athletics.
