Dr. Lisa Cook, a distinguished Federal Reserve Governors Board Member and Baldwin High School alumna, graced the economics students with her presence, speaking and taking questions from a group of BHS students.
Reflecting on her journey from academia to the Federal Reserve Board, Dr. Cook shared anecdotes and insights that left an indelible impression on the students. Recounting her reaction upon receiving the nomination, she emphasized the honor and humility she felt in serving as one of the seven Governors of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve.
