BCSD Board Bids Farewell to Mr. John Jackson as the 2022 Board Chair and Welcomes Dr. Gloria Wicker

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mr. John Jackson for his dedicated service as the Baldwin Board of Education Chair for the 2022 school year. Under his leadership, the board made great strides in improving educational opportunities for students and supporting teachers and staff.

Mr. Jackson's passion for education and commitment to the community were evident in every decision he made and every action he took. He worked tirelessly to ensure that every student had access to the resources and support they needed to succeed, and we are grateful for his efforts. Thank you so much for all that you do!

As we bid farewell to Mr. Jackson, we are excited to welcome Dr. Gloria Wicker as the new Board of Education Chair for the 2023 school year. Dr. Wicker brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role and we are confident that she will continue to guide the board in its efforts to provide the best possible education for our students.

We look forward to working with Dr. Wicker and the rest of the board to continue to improve educational outcomes for students, and we wish Mr. Jackson all the best in his future endeavors.
