BCSD Seeking Nominations for 2024-2025 Distinguished Alumni

The Baldwin County School District is accepting nominations for the honor of Distinguished Alumni of the Baldwin County School District. Distinguished Alumni are those individuals who are graduates of the district who have gone on to achieve considerable success in their careers, fields of study, philanthropy or those who have had a significant and profound impact on our local schools here in Baldwin County.

 

The following is the criteria for those wishing to nominate someone for the Distinguished Alumni honor.

 

Criteria: Must be a graduate of the Baldwin County School District. A person can be living or deceased.

 

At least (5) years need to pass from the time of the nominee’s graduation before they can be considered for induction.

 

Distinguished Alumni will be recognized for outstanding contributions made in their chosen profession and include areas such as: Science, Medicine, Public Service, Philanthropy, Military, Performing Arts, Technology, Business, Education, Government, Law, Fine Arts, Athletics, etc.

 

Characteristics given primary consideration include:

 

Record of Academic Achievement, Extraordinary Professional and/or Business Achievements, Outstanding Community or Civic Involvement, or Record of Athletic Achievement

 

A nominee must receive the majority of the votes from the selection committee to be inducted as a Distinguished Alumni.
