BHS Alumni Javon Bullard Helps Take the Georgia Bulldogs to the CFP National Championship

Baldwin County prides itself in producing the best both athletically and academically, and Baldwin High School graduate Javon Bullard is the current embodiment of what Baldwin students can achieve. Less than a year after Mayor Mary Parham-Copelan proclaimed March 11th as Javon Bullard Day in the City of Milledgeville, following last year’s National Championship run with the GA Bulldogs, Bullard has helped the Georgia Bulldogs clench the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl with three solo tackles, a sack, and a pass break-up. Javon was also named the Peach Bowl's Defensive Most Valuable Player (MVP), another check mark on his growing list of accolades. Congratulations, Javon! We are so proud of you!

Now the Bulldogs are poised to go head-to-head with Texas Christian University (TCU) on Monday, January 9th at 7:30 p.m. at SoFi Stadium in California and all of Baldwin County is getting into the spirit. Monday is a planned "BCSD Spirit Day”. Staff and students are encouraged to wear red and black in support of Javon and the team. Go Dawgs!
