Baldwin High School Basketball season officially begins Tuesday, Dec. 1st with a home game against Putnam County High School. The Baldwin Braves and Bravettes will face the Putnam County War Eagles on the court: the Girls Varsity game will start at 6:00 p.m.; the Boys Varsity game will begin immediately after the girls' game. Gates will open at 5:15 p.m. Tickets are on sale on the Go Fan app and advance tickets will be sold at the high school Monday, Nov. 30 and Tuesday, Dec. 1st from 12 noon until 3:30 p.m. The ticket price is $8.00. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE GAME!
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, preventative protocols and safety measures will be put in place during home basketball games. Only 400 tickets will be sold at each game this year to assist with social distancing. No fans will be allowed to sit on the lower level behind the teams. Seating will be limited to 100 people on each upper-level side of the gymnasium with 200 people allowed on the lower level across from the teams. Temperature checks will be taken and masks are required. Baldwin's clear bag policy and the use of metal detectors will be in place for each home game as well.
