Black History Month at LVA

Writer: Keata AndersonKeata Anderson

Lakeview Academy students participated in our 2nd Annual Black History Program. Students answered daily trivia questions, created posters, read the ABCs of Black History, performed poetry, musical, and dance routines. Teachers were also involved with beautiful displays throughout our building. A big thank you to Ms. J. Anderson, Ms. E. Yorker, Mr. J. Jones, Mrs. D. Giddens, Ms. C. Knox, Mrs. M. Owens, and all of the students who volunteered to participate in this event. Also, thank you to Dr. Holder and Ms. Chancellor for your encouragement and support with LVA's Black History Month program.
