October's Central Office Employee of the Month is Jaime Jeanes. Ms. Jeanes has worked for the Baldwin County School District for five years as a dispatcher for the transportation Department. She is the first point of contact in the transportation department. Need a bus number? Call her. Want to know what bus goes to what street? She probably memorized it. Logistics is her craft, and her department gives her plenty of opportunities to use the skills she learned as a commercial dispatcher. She is an only child of an only child with an only child. Holidays are a breeze, she states. Ms. Jeanes went to Baldwin High School for her junior and senior years of high school and graduated in 2005. She spent a year abroad before coming home and attending Georgia Military College. She is from Wilkinson County, but she feels like a native of Baldwin. When she's not at work, Ms. Jeanes enjoys painting, drawing, and sculpting. She attributes her love for the arts to Ms. Erica Wells and Ms. Monica Brooks, art teachers at Baldwin High School.
