From social studies teacher to team leader, and even as a YES (Youth Enrichment Services) After School Program Teacher, he has consistently displayed a commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering a positive learning environment.
Lary's accomplishments have not gone unnoticed, as he was honored as the Oak Hill Middle School Teacher of the Year in 2011, a testament to his outstanding teaching abilities and dedication to his students' success. Beyond the classroom, he has played pivotal roles as the Milledgeville Kappa League Advisor, a mentor, and a coach for soccer, football, and track teams. His influence reaches far beyond academics, impacting the lives of countless students through athletics and mentorship.
With a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Claflin University, a Master's Degree in Education in Educational Leadership from both Troy University and the University of West Georgia, Lary boasts a robust academic background. He achieved an Educational Specialist and a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University in Sarasota, FL. This breadth of knowledge and qualifications speaks volumes about his commitment to being a lifelong learner and a dedicated educator.
