Last week, the Early Learning Center (ELC) hosted their annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration. Students and families in Mrs. Beard, Ms. Barnett, Mrs. Lopez, and Ms. Pearson's classes participated in crafts, a parade, and were able to sample homemade authentic dishes brought by families.

Local businesses El Amigo Mexican Restaurant, Taco Bell, and Jalisco Mexican Restaurant provided donations for this special event as well. Special thanks to Mrs. Beard for spearheading this event. An incredible amount of work was put into this event to make it a success!

September 15th-October 15th is National Hispanic Heritage Month! This annual observance is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements, histories, traditions, diversity, and vibrant culture of Hispanic and Latino Americans.
