GCEC Students Learn the Value of the Public Library System

Georgia College Early College (GCEC) students have been taking advantage of the Mary Vinson Memorial Public Library. Over the last couple of weeks, multiple classes have visited for a variety of different projects.

In Mr. Womack’s class, Multicultural Literature students will read each evening and apply Maslow's Expanded Hierarchy, Ego Defense Mechanisms and Cognitive Biases, and analyze the writer's rhetorical employ and philosophical schools of thought in their novels.

Mrs. Burch’s middle school classes are falling in love with library and have been building great bridges with the staff. Each class is engaging in lifelong reading practices and fostering a love of reading that will be invaluable!

Thank you to the staff of both the Mary Vinson and Hancock branch as they have made GCEC students feel so welcomed and supported!
