Baldwin County School District celebrates statewide recognition for student progress and achievement
The Baldwin County School District is thrilled to announce that Lakeview Academy School has been named a 2025 Title I Reward School by the Georgia Department of Education!
This prestigious recognition places Lakeview Academy among the top 5% of Title I schools in the state for making the most progress in improving performance in English Language Arts and Mathematics. The honor is based on two years of statewide assessment data and highlights the incredible growth and resilience of our students and staff.
“Lakeview Academy’s recognition as a Title I Reward School speaks volumes about the passion and commitment of our educators, students, and families,” said Superintendent Dr. Kristina Brooks. “Their hard work and belief in the power of learning continue to make a lasting difference in our district.”
Deputy Superintendent Shaun Owen of the Georgia Department of Education’s Office of Federal Programs praised Baldwin County’s achievement, noting that the distinction “reflects both effective teaching and strong leadership” across the district.
Congratulations to the Lakeview Academy family, our students, teachers, and administrators, for setting a shining example of excellence in education. Your dedication ensures that every child in Baldwin County has the opportunity to grow, achieve, and thrive.
