We, at Lakeview Academy, are rocking March Madness by reading! We are starting off the month by celebrating Dr. Seuss Week and dressing up accordingly. Guest readers, provided by Communities in Schools, are coming into the classroom to share a favorite book. The Media Center is launching our #LVARocksReading program, which will see our students and teachers keeping their eyes peeled to spot 'reading rocks' hidden all over the school. These rocks can be exchanged for books to read. Successfully reading books earns the student (or teacher) points to earn a limited edition LVA Reading Rockstar guitar tag and bragging rights! The Media Center also hosts its spring book fair at the end of the month. Students continue to strive to become members of the 400 minute reading club. At LVA, we truly do rock reading!
