Writer's picture: Felicia CummingsFelicia Cummings

The Baldwin County School District is preparing for MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) testing for students. The MAP Growth assessment is used to measure achievement and growth in K-12 math, reading, language arts, and science. The MAP test will provide teachers the opportunity to set goals and track individual student growth throughout the school year. BCSD students will participate in MAP three times this year: at the start of the year, at the end of the semester, and in early spring. For more details please click the parent letter below which contains frequently asked questions regarding MAP Growth assessment. If you have additional questions about MAP, parents are encouraged to contact your child's teacher.
