Oak Hill Takes Home Awards in the Georgia Department of Education's Student Chef Competition

Oak Hill Middle School student chefs were formally recognized at this month's School Board Meeting for winning two awards in this year's Georgia Department of Education Student Chef Competition.


Taraji James and Jimmela Corbin took home the 2nd place prize for their Apple and Broccoli Salad recipe. Peyton McCants, Layla Foster, and Kindal

Watson took home the 3rd place prize for

their recipe for Savory Vegetable Potato Soup. They were joined in receiving their certificates by their teacher, Seticia Smith, and FoodCorps representative, Ann Allen. See their photos and video below!
