The Baldwin County School District Grieves Loss of Two Students

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the unexpected loss of two of our students: Brittany Spell, a 22- year-old Baldwin High School graduate of the Class of 2017, and Erin Bass, a sixth grade student from Oak Hill Middle School. Ms. Spell lost her life in a house fire. We have all been devastated by this tragic news. The family has set up a Go Fund Me account to help raise funds for funeral expenses. The account can be accessed at the following link: GoFundMe Brittany Spell.

Erin Bass, the sixth-grade student, passed away suddenly at home and our hearts were broken to hear of this terrible news. Losing a child is an unspeakable tragedy and our school district is mourning this loss alongside the family. On behalf of the entire Baldwin County School District, we offer our sincerest and heartfelt condolences to both families. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
