The Band of the Braves Plans for Two More Competitions

The Band of the Braves kicked off their competition season at the Grovetown Warrior Invitational and even with the band not having a marching season last year due to COVID-19, they picked up right where they left off from their 2019 season. The band scored superior ratings in three categories: drum major, percussion, and band, and scored an excellent rating in the color guard category. Within their classification, all four groups earned a top-three finish with the color guard placing 3rd best in class, drum major placing 2nd best in class, and the percussion and band both placed 1st place overall in their class.

The band has plans to attend two more competitions including the Legacy of Champions at Carrollton High School on Saturday, October the 9th, and then closing out their competitive marching season at the Heart of Georgia at Warner Robins High School on Saturday, October 23rd.
